ChatWizz is a SaaS-based communication tool. It provides the functionality to have a chat service for organizations. It supports different add-ons and one of them is “UVdesk Plugin”. This plugin lets your agents create tickets for the customers via live chat. Agents can create tickets by clicking a single button during or after live chat. Sometimes, more significant issues can’t get handled during the live chats. Agents can create tickets on customers’ behalf so they can get back to them with the solutions. It is two-way communication. Customers can also reply to the tickets. And the tickets also maintain the history for future references. ChatWizz-UVdesk Plugin Installation To install the UVdesk helpdesk plugin into ChatWizz, you need to simply visit the ChatWizz admin dashboard and click on the ‘Add-Ons’ button from the left navigation bar. Search the UVdesk plugin and click on the install button. To Configure UVdesk Plugin Scroll down on the left navigation bar and select “Installed Add-ons > UVdesk plugin > Configuration”. Enter the “Authorization Token” and “URL” details and click on the Save button. To get Authorization Token: Go to the UVdesk admin dashboard and select the “Profile” section. In the profile section, click “API Access Tokens > New Token” After clicking the “New Token” button, you will see the popup where you can enter the token name. Once done, copy the token. To write URL: Inside the URL section please paste the below link: https://domain_name.uvdesk.com/en/api/tickets.json Note: Please enter your domain name instead of “domain_name” in the URL. Live Chat Support Installation To continue with the UVdesk plugin, you need to install the live chat support add-on. To install the live chat support into ChatWizz, you need to simply visit the ChatWizz admin dashboard and click on the ‘Add-Ons’ button from the left navigation bar. Search the live chat support plugin and click on the install button. After successful installation of the live chat support plugin, you need to register your shop domain. Scroll down on the left navigation bar and select “Installed Add-ons > Live Chat Support > Domains > Add New”. By clicking the “Add New” button you will get a popup, where you have to enter the domain name and the primary email ID. After this, you will find some settings by which you can edit, delete, and view your domain. The domain is registered, now click the view icon to get the code that you are going to embed. Copy the code to proceed further Now you can also see some general configurations on that page, you can configure them as per your requirements. To know about general configurations you can click here. Embed the Code in UVdesk helpdesk Go to the UVdesk admin dashboard, here you will find the settings section under that click on branding. Under the branding section, go to the “Advanced” section, paste the code under the “Custom Javascript” section and click on the “Save Changes” button. Customer End View Here is the knowledgebase section, from here customers will get the live chat option where they can start chatting with the operator. Operator End View Below shown is the operator panel. Now from here, the operator can able to accept the chats. Below you can see the customer view likewise customers can able to chat with the operator. Ticket Creation through Chat Operators can create tickets on customers’ behalf so that they will coordinate over the ticket for further assistance. Now move to the three dots at the right top corner, from here you will get an option to create a ticket as shown below. Now you will get the popup, enter the details and click on “Create“. The operator will get the ticket id and can share it with the customer. A customer will also get a ticket number on the registered email id. Agent End View Now the ticket has been created and the agent can see it on the UVdesk helpdesk panel. To view ticket Go to the UVdesk dashboard > Tickets Inside the ticket view, the agent and customer will also get the complete history conversation between them in the attached file. Need Support?
